Inauguration ceremony of Prime Minister Youth Programme Talent Hunt Youth Sports League Volleyball Provincial


Government College Women University Faisalabad organised inauguration ceremony of Prime Minister Youth Programme, Talent Hunt Youth Sports League Volleyball Provincial matches for women in the university on 19th July 2023. Main Abdul Mannan, Former member National Assembly of Pakistan was the chief guest, whereas Shoaib Idrees, Former member provincial assembly was the guest of honour of the event. Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Zill-i-Huma Nazli attended the ceremony as guest of honour. Expressing his views, Mian Abdul Mannan declared the event a very happy occasion for the university to hosting all provincial teams here in Faisalabad. He expressed his love and respect for daughters of the nation who are striving hard to glorify the name of their province and the country. He further remarked that the government of Pakistan is moving ahead towards economics stability and soon with good strategies he will ensure speedy development projects, better hostel facilities, and improved learning environment in the university. Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Zill-i-Huma Nazli expressed that girls are not a fragile gender, they have a potential to do wonders in all walks of life. She congratulation and encouraged all the teams to show outstanding performance in the provincial level competitions. She appreciated the role of HEC and Prime Minister of Pakistan for promotion of young talent in the field of sports.Registrar GCWUF Mr Asif A Malik presented a report on recent achievements of the university in Sports and congratulated Director Sports Ms Fehmida Ayub for making excellent arrangements of the event under umbrella of GCWUF and HEC. Coordinator faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Ayesha Sameen also addressed the audience. She appreciated the strength and passion of the players and encouraged them to show their remarkable sportsman spirit during the league. All participating teams later had a group photo with the chief guest and the guests of honour.
